Child Safety & Minor Services Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026

How Salon Manthra manages services for children and minors with guardian supervision, consent, service sensitivity, and safety-first decision making.

Guardian supervision

Children should be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult during salon visits. The accompanying adult remains responsible for the child before, during, and after the appointment.

Minor consent requirements

  • Guardian consent may be required before providing services to minors.
  • For sensitive services, Salon Manthra may request that the guardian remain present for consultation and service approval.
  • Our team may decline to proceed if consent is unclear, the minor appears uncomfortable, or the service is not suitable.

Age-sensitive treatment restrictions

Certain chemical, facial, waxing, makeup, dressing, nail, or beauty treatments may be unsuitable for younger clients or may require a gentler approach, consultation, or postponement.

Piercing restrictions

Piercing for minors requires guardian approval and may be refused if age, consent, hygiene, aftercare readiness, behaviour, or health considerations make the service unsuitable. Guardian identification or written consent may be requested where appropriate.

Safety-first refusal rights

Salon Manthra may refuse, stop, modify, or reschedule a minor service where we believe it is necessary for safety, hygiene, consent clarity, staff welfare, client comfort, or operational reasons.
