Client Consent & Treatment Disclosure Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026

A clear guide to treatment understanding, consent, outcome variability, disclosure responsibilities, aftercare, and optional media permission.

Treatment understanding

Before receiving a service, clients should understand the nature of the treatment, likely process, approximate timing, aftercare needs, and any known limitations discussed by the Salon Manthra team.

Outcome variability

Hair, skin, makeup, piercing, waxing, nail, and beauty services can vary from person to person. Results may be affected by hair history, skin condition, product response, previous treatments, home care, climate, lifestyle, and individual biology.

Disclosure responsibilities

  • Clients must disclose allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, pregnancy-related precautions, recent procedures, product reactions, medications, scalp or skin concerns, and previous chemical or color work.
  • Incomplete or inaccurate disclosure can affect safety, comfort, final result, and service eligibility.
  • Our team may ask consultation questions before or during the appointment and may adapt the service based on the answers.

Chemical, skin, and piercing treatment acknowledgement

  • Keratin, color, relaxing, straightening, rebonding, curling, facial, peeling, waxing, piercing, and other sensitive treatments may require consultation, patch testing, consent, or a modified approach.
  • Some services may involve temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, fading, adjustment time, or aftercare responsibilities.
  • Piercing services require hygiene cooperation, age-appropriate consent, and careful aftercare.

Aftercare compliance

Clients are responsible for following aftercare guidance, using suitable products where recommended, avoiding actions that may compromise the result, and contacting the salon promptly if they have a concern after service.

Optional photo and video consent

Salon Manthra may request permission to capture or use before/after photos or short videos for consultation records, training, portfolio, or marketing. Photo and video use is optional and should be agreed separately. You may decline marketing use without affecting your service.
